What is PRP Collagen Induction therapy?
PRP collagen induction therapy is a combination of Microneedling and PRP. Microneedling is a skin rejuvenation procedure in which tiny needles are introduced into the skin to create microscopic channels. These tiny channels stimulate the skin’s natural ability to heal and regrow. For optimal results, patients generally require 3 treatments, spaced 2-4 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results.
What can I expect after a procedure?
Collagen induction PRP therapy is a minimally invasive procedure with little to no downtime. Most patients return to work the next day. The skin will appear pink or mildly red immediately after the procedure—this is normal. Some patients also described feeling dry, itchy, or tender skin, though these symptoms resolve on their own in about 24 hours.
